What are the BMW X4 Trim Levels?

The BMW X4 is available in two trim levels. Starting at $51,600, BMW X4 xDrive 30i is equipped with a 248 horsepower 4-cylinder engine, hitting 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. The xDrive 30i has an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as BMW iDrive AWD included standard. BMW offers the X4 in a performance M40i variant as well. Starting at $61,700, BMW X4 M40i upgrades to a 382 horsepower twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine achieving 0-60 in just 4.2 seconds. The M40i has the same eight-speed automatic transmission and standard iDrive AWD found on the xDrive 30i. The X4 M40i features unique exterior styling. With more aggressive LED headlights and additional body-color exterior cladding, The BMW X4 M40i SUV is sure to be a winner in the looks department. Both trims boast similar MPG estimates. The xDrive 30i has 25/23/29–combined/city/highway and the M40i has 23/21/27–combined/city/highway.

Available Packages in the BMW X4

BMW X4 has a multitude of available options and packages, letting you cater your X4 to your personal standards. BMW grouped what were the most popular options into three bundled packages. The Convenience Package will get you comfort access keyless entry, lumbar support, and wireless charging and a WiFi Hotspot all for $1,050. Keep in mind that the convenience package is only available on the X4 xDrive 30i. For $2,800 BMW offers the Premium Package. The Premium Package has everything included in the Convenience Package plus a Heads-Up display, gesture controls, and a heated steering wheel. For $5,250 BMW has the Executive Package. Included is everything in the Convenience and Premium Packages plus an abundance of safety features, ambient lighting, and adaptive full LED lights with automatic high beams.

BMW does offer most of these amenities as stand-alone options for BMW X4. For technology upgrades, a 10.25” central infotainment display with navigation is available. The Heads-Up display, which projects real-time directions as well as the speed limit is available as a stand alone upgrade. Also available is BMW Surround View with Remote 3D view, which allows you to keep an eye on your vehicle’s surroundings using the BMW connected smartphone app. For additional convenience and entertainment options, BMW offers available roof rails, heated and ventilated seats, and a Harman Hardon surround sound system. BMW X4’s available safety features makes it one of the safest SAVs in its class. BMWs impressive list of safety features includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection, front collision warning, front AND rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and lane-keep assist.
