Great experience at Serra BMW in Champaign! Worked with Matt Pieczynski as my service advisor, who made the whole process easy and stress-free. He wasn't pushy at all and only recommended services that were actually needed — really appreciated that honesty. Communication was excellent throughout, they got us in and out quickly, and the complimentary hand wash was a nice touch. Highly recommend asking for Matt if you're bringing your car in!

The service that I received at Serra BMW was top-notch. I experienced an issue with my vehicle while visiting Champaign and it did not take long to be seen, despite storms moving through the area. My issue was diagnosed and repaired to my satisfaction. I especially want to shout-out the friendly customer service and responsiveness of Matt. I highly recommend this BMW dealership.

I was offered a ride so I wouldn’t have to sit and wait for oil change. I declined because I figured an oil change would not take too long. Wrong . 3 hours! I was the only one there. The paperwork I received afterwards was confusing. It listed and explained recommendations of further work needed. Holy cow! My car has only 6,000 miles on it. When questioned about it, I was told the work had indeed been done. It should have stated that the work had been done and not listed as a recommendation. What’s that all about?
Salesman very knowledgeable and helpful
Matt thoroughly explained the service necessary after a routine inspection found that a rodent had nested and chewed internal wires. (Oddly enough my wife had a similar instance including the deceased rodent nestled under her engine cover). They had my car fixed and ready for pick up when promised. In general I have found my service experience to be stress free, professional, and thorough at Serra.

In mid-June, 2026 my wife and I were returning to Dallas after a trip to Chicago. While driving through Champaign/Urbana, IL, our 2014 BMW X5 had a breakdown. I contacted Serra BMW Champaign and was put in contact with a towing company, which brought our car to the Serra BMW Service Center.

Matt and Jeff provide great customer service. They are very knowledgeable at what they do! Not knowing a lot about cars, Matt provides great analogies to help me understand what’s going on with my car which helps me to feel at ease on moving forward with fixing it.

Excellent service
This was, by far, the best experience we have ever had with purchasing a car. Charlie and Alberto were very easy (and fun) to work with. The whole process was straight-forward and no one was pushy, which was a breath of fresh air. They are top notch and we highly recommend a visit them if you're interested in a BMW!

Great Service, everyone there is really nice. Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and everything is explained to you well. Matt, the mechanics, and the shuttle drivers are lovely. They take their time with the service and they leave your car in great condition. Great communication and service overall. I think the qualities this center has is something that often lacks in this industry, especially in Champaign and towards women. They are great to go to.

I didn't realize how much better this dealership was until I went with my friend to Naperton Volkswagen dealership in Urbana - it was like day vs night. Serra BMW actually looks you in the eye and doesn't mumble. They gave me an estimate of time and cost before I left my car with them and were in contact very quickly and consistently. I am very happy with my experience.

I just moved to the Illinois area and went to get my oil changed, my car is under a maintenance warranty so i had about 6 other services i could get done. The service team was amazing and stayed later to do all things on my car so i wouldn’t have to come back another day. I believe the manager name is Matthew he was amazing please take your car to them, the best service team I’ve encountered.

Great service from the Service Department at BMW in Champaign! One gentleman kindly helped me lift and retrieve a ring that had been lost at no charge. Our BMW was purchased in another city but they were still very friendly and willing to help, no questions asked. To the gentleman who helped me a few days ago, thank you so much!
Had an electrical issue, they worked me in quickly. Part had to be ordered and they gave me a loaner car until work was completed. Matt, service department, explained everything thoroughly and clearly and had me back on the road quickly. Always friendly staff and work done well!

The BMW Sales and services teams are the best!! They treat their customers like family. We’ve purchased 3 BMWs over the years, and run out of superlatives to describe the sales manager Alberto and his team (shout out to Elliot!). They have transformed the buying experience into something pleasant. The service department gets high marks, too. A flat tire late Friday evening with plans to drive out of town for the weekend? No problem — stop by, pick up a loaner, and enjoy the weekend away. Google only allows five stars — I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
