A More Powerful Engine

The 2024 BMW X5 has made significant improvements to the standard 3.0-liter inline-six engine. The 2020 model generates 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque; for the 2024 model, you get 375 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. While the engine design is relatively the same, the 2024 BMW X5 has improved power output thanks to better air and fuel intake systems.

Expanded Dimensions

Overall, the BMW X5 SUV has remained relatively the same across its lifecycle. However, the 2024 model reaches a height of 69.5 inches, up from the 68.7 inches of the 2020 model. Wheel size has also been slightly increased, with 19×9-inch wheels on the 2020 BMW X5 and 20×9-inch wheels on the 2024 line. Thanks to the increased height and other features, the curb weight has been increased by 185 lbs.
